How the Blog's Differ

   

     So far I have read 5 narratives and each of them is different in its own way. Each narrative has a different voice/tone, learning experience, and moral.

     The voice in each narrative is unique to its author. Malcolm X has a very strong opinionated voice that demands the reader’s attention unlike Rose's voice that has a experienced tone that simply wants you to listen. Each article has a message they want to relate to you and they use their voice to give that message a personality.

     The narratives each have a unique learning experience. Malcolm X's is clearly how he learned to read, write and gain a large vocabulary when Rose's how he learned to cope with an unfamiliar situation and make the best of it. Each narrative has a different experience, some easier to grasp than others.

     The last differing point is how each narrative has a basic moral. A moral is whatever you take away from the article and apply it in your own life. I believe Malcolm X's moral was to make the best out of a hard situation and change that situation into a learning experience. When “How I Learned to Program Computers" by Feross Aboukhadiejeh was simply trying to tell you to find something you're passionate about and apply yourself to it 100%.
