Mr. McFarland Compared to Mr. Escalante

    I believe that Mr. Escalante was similar to Mr. McFarland because they both are very dedicated to their students. I could tell that Mr. McFarland cared for his students, he encouraged Mike to become a writer because he could tall he was very passionate about his writings and he helped develop hi writing skills. Just like Mr. Escalante he had a goal to improve his students and make them learn in a fun and academic way. Although they both taught in different environments and subjects they where both very into their teachings and students. Mr, Escalante was involved with his students both inside the classrooms and outside, before their final exam he brought them home with him and made them supper while he helped them study. Similarly Mr. McFarland would bring Mike and other students to his place so that they could study writings and books to improve their literatur knowledge.
